Built on real curricula: ACARA (AU) · KMK (DE) · Common Core (US/CA). One plan, at home or on the road.

You didn't sign up to run a school office.

Planning every week from a curriculum document. Proving it all to the department. Keeping two or three kids moving — in different year levels, maybe in different languages. That's the part that burns families out. So Nolia carries it: the planning, the pacing, the paperwork. You keep the part you actually wanted — learning with your child.

How it works

A calm week, in four folds.

Step 1

Start where your child is.

A friendly placement check finds the right starting point in every subject — the real one, not the age-typical one. Prefer to judge it yourself? Your call counts too.

Step 2

Monday morning, the week is ready.

Nolia builds each week fresh from the curricula you choose — hand-curated lessons in the right dose for your child's age, pace and way of learning. No planning Sundays. Ever.

Step 3

Learn it together.

Every lesson gives you a guiding track — "You could say…", "You'll know it clicked when…", "If it's tricky…" — so you can lead confidently, even with no teaching background.

Step 4

The paperwork writes itself.

Everything you record lands in the learning record. When it's time to show your state or council, you export a curriculum-mapped portfolio PDF or an annual report. Done.

A look inside

The calm is in the details.

One plan. Two curricula. Two languages.

See both school systems at a glance for each child — German lessons in German, Australian in English, in the same week. The honest week ring shows what's actually done, and celebrates it without nagging.

The week, already planned.

Monday to Sunday, lessons chosen and paced for you — move things around, pin them to mornings, or switch to a calm focus list. A materials list for the whole week comes as a PDF.

Why Nolia

Four things you won't find anywhere else.

Two curricula. Two languages. One week.

German lessons in German, Australian lessons in English, in the same weekly plan. For travelling and binational families, it's the whole point: two school systems, one calm week. We haven't found anyone else who does it.

Built for you, not just your child.

Most learning apps park a child alone in front of a screen. Nolia is made for learning together — it gives you the guiding role, with a gentle script whenever you want one.

Hand-curated. On purpose.

Every lesson is written and reviewed by an expert panel before it can reach your plan. No auto-generated filler, no AI roulette. Quality you can actually check.

Evidence, not points.

Registration reviews ask for documents, not high scores. Nolia produces them: curriculum-mapped portfolios, annual reports, honest learning records.

Who it's for

Families don't come in one shape. Neither does Nolia.

When school stopped working

Anxiety, bullying, a classroom that didn't fit: you're not alone, and there's nothing wrong with your child. Nolia gives them a calm way to learn at their own pace — and gives you the plan and the paperwork.

When school could use a hand

Nolia also works alongside regular school — for consolidating, catching up gently, or stretching further. Same calm plan, lighter dose.

No streaks. No alarms. No guilt.

Nolia never turns learning into a slot machine. No loss streaks, no leaderboards, no random rewards — the research says they burn children out, so we left them out. Progress is shown honestly and celebrated properly: at real milestones a new origami figure quietly folds itself into your child's gallery. That's as loud as we get.

Privacy by design

Your family's data is not our business model.

Children's names and photos are field-encrypted (AES-256). Deleting really deletes — crypto-shredding, not archiving. And nothing about your child ever feeds analytics or ads. We built for Australia's Children's Online Privacy Code before it becomes binding, and to GDPR standards for Europe.

Encrypted where it matters

Names & photos encrypted at field level — not lying around in plain text.

Deleted means deleted

We destroy the keys. There is no quiet archive.

No ads, ever

No profiles, no ad pixels on family data, no data resale.

Our story

It started with homework we couldn't see.

Our family lives between two countries. Work moves us back and forth between Germany and Australia — and for a long time, school didn't move with us. We wanted one calm plan that carried both our worlds, with progress we could see and records any authority would accept. It didn't exist. So we started building it.

The name comes from curious. The little spark in our logo is the moment we built all of this for: when something clicks and a child looks up.

Good to know

Questions families ask us

Do I need teaching experience?
No — and that's the point. Every lesson comes with a parent guide: what to say, what understanding looks like, what to try if it's tricky. You bring the time together; Nolia brings the structure.
Is Nolia a curriculum or a planner?
Both halves of the job: it plans your week from real curricula (ACARA, KMK, Common Core + NGSS) with hand-curated lessons for each task. You don't need to buy or map anything else for the subjects Nolia covers.
Can my child learn two curricula at once — in two languages?
Yes — this is what Nolia was built for. German curriculum lessons arrive in German, Australian ones in English, in the same week, each tagged with its flag. Siblings can even learn in different languages.
What if we go back to school one day?
Then Nolia hands you the paperwork for that conversation: a learning record any teacher can read, subject by subject, plus an annual report for the file. Re-entry becomes a step, not a leap.
